Our TEAM

During her career in the federal government, Leanne led the Generation Energy Forum for NRCan, a national consultation process to help chart Canada’s long-term energy future. She has held senior advisory roles at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) where she worked with industry groups, professional associations, health charities, post-secondary institutions as well as federal and provincial governments. She has also held key positions with a federal Cabinet Minister in the areas of International Trade, Health, Intergovernmental Affairs and Official Languages.
Leanne received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta and her Masters’ in Political Science from Carleton University. In 2017, Leanne was named by Ottawa Life Magazine as one of the top 25 people in Ottawa.

Michael has a tradition of building some of the most successful brands in the food & beverage industry, having been a partner in Thyme & Again Catering, as well as Executive Chef of the Beckta restaurants, including Play food & wine and Gezellig. Prior to returning to Ottawa, Michael spent many years working in renowned kitchens including The River Café, one of New York’s most iconic restaurants as well as the CAA 5 Diamond Award winning kitchen at the Rimrock Resort in Banff, AB.
Michael believes that hospitality has the power to build a kinder more compassionate community. To this end, in addition to participating in many charitable Chef events, he spent several years as Co-Chair of the Ottawa Mission Gala and hosted “Operation Big Turkey,” a holiday dinner serving up to 4000 guests in Ottawa annually.
Michael is a proud Algonquin College Culinary Arts Graduate, spending many years as Member and Chair of the Advisory Board. He continues to teach at Algonquin College in the hopes of guiding the next generation of cooks.

With a creative mindset, she has worked with independent groups as they grow through the challenges of scaling up by standardizing processes, finding efficiencies, and implementing digital transformation. Most recently, she has spearheaded the allsaints’ journey through the Ecocert sustainability framework.
Kate discovered an interest in space curation and destination development after working on the redevelopment of the historic Old Spitalfields Market in London, a project that required a deep understanding of the differing needs of tenants, developers, and visitors.

Masood received his undergraduate degree from Carleton University and his Masters’ in Economics from Queen’s University. He is skilled at assessing the viability of products and services in specific markets, and provides clients advice on regulatory processes, competition law enforcement and policy development by drawing on his strong background in economics and market analysis.

Tiana is skilled at: event management; hospitality; and client service.
